The project has won the Queensland Chapter Award in the Construction/Engineering Project over $100 Million category at an award ceremony held in Brisbane.

Graham could not be present at the AIPM ceremony in Brisbane as he was attending the AIB National Awards dinner in Melbourne. Here, Wiley and the Primo project netted their fifth and sixth industry award in as many months—taking out the National Award for Research, Development and Technology and a coveted 2013 Professional Builder of the Year.

Graham commented on his PMAA recognition saying, “This award recognises the Project Management skill set possessed at Wiley and our ability to successfully manage a complex food processing plant through the complete project life cycle and deliver on all the critical elements of time, cost and quality.”

Accepting the award on Graham’s behalf, Wiley Project Manager, David Burton-Bradley  (pictured above) said, “Projects of this size and complexity require a highly skilled delivery team. Once again, Wiley has proven their ability to deliver a quality product in a highly competitive market.”

Looking ahead, the project automatically advances to the National level of the PMAA and is also competing at the National level of the QMBA Housing & Construction Awards with winners announced at a Gala dinner in October in Brisbane.
