Who am I: Construction Cadet

My favorite thing in the world is a challenge. Working through something difficult alone, or with a team is something I find incredibly satisfying. I love understanding how things work and why things are the way they are which is probably why a major interest of mine is history including reading and learning all about the past. Despite this I personally try to always live in the moment meeting every challenge head on and always giving it my all.

Currently I’m in my third year of uni studying Construction Management at QUT. When I’m not at work or studying you can find me spending quality time with friends and family or taking part in one of my passions, be that rugby union, snowboarding, scuba diving or hiking and exploring the great outdoors.

The most impactful event of my life would have to be the time I spent in Nepal travelling and working in a school where me and a team taught English, re-painted classrooms and built a boundary wall. This experience greatly broadened my view of the world and taught me just how easy it is for us as individuals to make positive impacts on the lives of others.

My favorite quote that motivates me when things get challenging is:

“Whether you think you can or think you can’t – you’re right.”

~ Henry Ford
